'A diamond is a beautiful stone with which to cut Jade.'

Our Jade Workshop

Our jade factory opened its doors in 1974 and remains the largest jade operation in Central America with roughly 63,000 square feet of factory, museum and showroom area. Because we re-established the jade carving industry in Guatemala, over 300 Guatemalans today earn their livelihood from the mining, carving and selling of jade products.

It takes teamwork at Jade Maya to explore, find, mine, transport, test, sort, saw, trim, grind, polish, drill, set, string, design, price, sell and ship our beautiful jadeite jade jewelry and museum replicas to you. We all share the same vision of harmony, beauty and satisfaction. We guarantee the best quality and certified jadeite jade jewelry you may find on the market. When we say its jadeite jade, it is 100% Certified Jadeite Jade.

Artisans of our workshop

We provide jobs and training in multiple skills to our employees, with the main objective of providing you a high quality, fine handcrafted gemstone as part of our jewelry and museum replica catalogue.

Guatemalan jade has a rich history dating back to ancient Maya civilization, where it was highly prized and considered a symbol of power, status, and spirituality. Even today, this tradition continues as skilled artisans create exquisite pieces that showcase the beauty of jade and pay homage to their cultural heritage. Whether you're drawn to its historical significance, spiritual symbolism, or simply its exquisite aesthetics, Guatemalan jade jewelry stands as a testament to the skill and creativity of the artisans who bring it to life.

Transformation

The raw jade material is transformed into museum-quality replicas and exquisite fine jewelry. What sets our jade jewelry apart is the meticulous attention to detail and the reverence for the stone's natural beauty. Each piece is crafted with a sense of pride and tradition, making it not just an accessory but a work of art that carries a piece of Guatemala's cultural heritage.

Bill Clinton's Visit

Our jade factory is well-known among tourists, celebrities, and politicians. In March 1999, President of the United States Bill Clinton, spent two hours at the Jade Maya factory and showroom. Shortly after the Clinton visit, the Premier of the Republic of China, Vincent Siew, also came to visit and shop at Jade Maya.
